FOOD FIGHT 2025

We are excited to announce the four Hunter Valley All Stars for 2025 -

Josh Hannan – Head Chef at the acclaimed EXP Restaurant, Pokolbin
Steve Scott – Executive Chef of The Del Hotel, Newcastle
Rafael Tonon – Group Executive Chef of Alfies Italian + Wine Bar, Alfies Catering and Frenchie, Newcastle
Kyle Whitbourne – Former Head Chef at Mount Pleasant and Restaurant Mason (now with HCA Partner Eustralis)

These esteemed local chefs hardly need any introduction, and the gloves are certainly off this Food Fight, with a well-worn path to supremacy always at the fore in the local food stakes.

The food as always, we promise to be outstanding, the wines amongst the Hunter Valley’s finest and the ‘fellowship’ of our industry of course such an important part of the day.

Event starts at 11am with canapes and sparkling then sit down at 11.30am.

You will enjoy 4 courses with matching wines and of course get to vote on the winning dish. HCA Member tickets $175, Non members $195 and Apprentices subsidised at $50.
